The performance has premiered at the Spring festival in Utrecht on 27 and 28 May, followed by a small tour to Amsterdam, Maastricht and The Hague (see below).\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThere was an intense collaboration and great personal connection between Andriessen and dancer and choreographer Blankert, since their first collaboration for \u003Cem\u003EDe Stijl\u003C\/em\u003E\u0026nbsp;in 1985. In it, she danced and simultaneously spoke a kind of rap about Piet Mondrian, who was called the \u0026ldquo;dancing madonna\u0026rdquo;. They created the performance \u003Cem\u003EDubbelspoor\u003C\/em\u003E\u0026nbsp;in 1986, choosing Samuel Beckett\u0026#39;s \u003Cem\u003ETexts for Nothing\u003C\/em\u003E\u0026nbsp;#7 in addition to the choreography and music, which fitted seamlessly with the chosen theme for the performance: \u0026#39;waiting.\u0026#39;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe performance also stems from Andriessen\u0026#39;s\u0026nbsp; and Blankert\u0026#39;s shared love for a 1977 book by Anton Haakman, \u003Cem\u003EAchter de spiegel \u003C\/em\u003E(\u0026#39;Behind the Mirror\u0026#39;), in which he compellingly describes the connection of reality and fiction in film and in reality. The performance \u003Cem\u003EDubbelspoor \u003C\/em\u003Eingeniously varies reflections, illusions and memories.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThis reprise is not just any reprise.
