Judging by the musical language, the improvisation is from before I wrote Praxis (1973). But we did know Reich! Note the passage around 18:00. And, of course, I was fond of Webern\/ Stravinsky-like melody figures and bass lines. Louis might play more long modal melodies. On 3 February 1973, we played at a concert in Middelburg, improvising on two pianos. I still had to learn everything.
